It’s not often that Lubbock manages to get Kinky, but Kinky Friedman will be in town Sunday.
 

Kinky will be at Bleacher’s Sports Cafe (1719 Buddy Holly Ave.) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a meet-and-greet.
 

That’s part of why I haven’t been posting much. I’ve been working with the local campaign (both in the county and on-campus.)
 

There will also be a county coordination meeting this Thursday at 6:30 p.m. (also at Bleachers, upstairs in the back.)
 

I’d encourage anyone and everyone to at least come check him out on Sunday, drag some friends along if you’re excited. If you’re interested in volunteering some time to help out, show up at the county meeting.
 

At his meetings elsewhere around the state (and when he was here in Lubbock last) he is typically available to shake as many hands and sign as many autographs as are necessary to make sure everyone who wants either leaves happy.
